Pot Holing
Utility potholing is used to locate known utilities below surface level by excavating holes. We start with a simple pothole of around 8 to 12 inches in diameter and use a vacuum excavator to dig straight down until the utility is found.
Potholing is used by utility and construction companies so they can visually verify what type, depth, or diameter of the underground utility. Potholing/ Hydro-excavating is also used to dig holes for telephone poles ensuring that no utilities are damaged during the process.
