Hydro Excavating Services
Hydro excavating
Hydro excavating uses pressurized water to move or remove soil. A vacuum truck is then used to remove the debris and soil using a vacuum tube to deposit it in the debris tank on the truck. This application is very useful for removing soil during excavation and for locating underground utilites, becuase it is both more accurate and non-destructive compared to digging with heavy equipment. Because utility markings are not always completly accurate, hydro excavation can help avoid damage to underground utilites that might otherwise occur when using a backhoe or excavtor.
Hydro excavating is used throughout the country in situations where underground utilities are involved or could be nearby, and can also be used to avoid damaging adjacent utilities when repairing or replacing pipes, cables, or similar utility installations.
