Catch Basin Cleaning

Catch basins help minimize flooding on roads, parking lots and other large areas that could potentially hold water. They protect water quality by removing trash, sediment, decaying debris, and other solids from stormwater runoff. These materials are retained in a sump below the invert of the outlet pipe. Catch basin cleaning reduces foul odors, prevents clogs in the storm drain system, and reduces the loading of suspended solids, nutrients, and bacteria to receiving waters. Catch basins should be checked and cleaned annually if needed.
